Treatments for breast cancer carry a risk of side effects and complications.

These side effects may be mild or severe, depending on the patient’s reaction to treatment. The patient’s medical team will advise them on particular side effects or complications expected during their treatment plan.

Patients should discuss side effects with their medical team, particularly if they are struggling with side effects. Their medical team can develop a plan to manage and relieve side effects to improve treatment adherence and quality of life.
