Patients or health professionals can call the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ nursing team for free on 0800 BC NURSE (226 8773). Hard of hearing patients are able to email breastnurse@bcf.org.nz.
Our specialist breast cancer nurses are available weekdays from 8:30am - 5pm. After-hours questions or concerns can be emailed to breastnurse@bcf.org.nz, or patients can leave a message at 0800 BC NURSE, and nurses will respond to these as soon as possible.
This confidential service is for patients with breast cancer or for their family and friends. Those who are concerned, or want to know more, about their breast health are also encouraged to contact the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ nursing team.
The breast cancer nurse advice line does not replace the advice of the patient’s specialist breast cancer team or GP.
