Order Patient Bags
If your patient is newly diagnosed or is preparing for surgery, we encourage you to give them a free BCFNZ patient bag which has useful information about our services and provides support during their breast cancer treatment.
Patients that have been newly diagnosed or are preparing for surgery, are encouraged to access a free Breast Cancer Foundation NZ patient information bag. These have useful information about Breast Cancer Foundation NZ services and provide support during their breast cancer treatment.
Patients are able to call the Breast Cancer Foundation specialist breast nurses once they have received their patient information bag in order to access their support services and surgical aids (heart pillows, seatbelt covers, drain bags).
Patients might not need support services straight away, but healthcare professionals are encouraged to let patients know what is available.
Healthcare clinics are able to order patient information bags by emailing, email breasthealth@bcf.org.nz with their clinic details and requirements. Alternatively, patients can call 0800 BC NURSE (226 8773) to order a bag.
